Board of Directors

The Board of Directors represent the highest form of leadership within the Fund, and serve industry-agnostic executive functions. The Board is responsible for approving every position entry and exit, as well as maintaining & improving general Fund operations across membership, fund-wide investment strategy, and external relations.

Thomas Henry

Chief Executive Officer, Chair of the Board

Thomas is a junior in the McDonough School of Business from New Jersey double majoring in Finance and Accounting. Outside of GUSIF, Thomas is on the board of the Georgetown University Public Real Estate Fund (GUPREF) and a member of the Steers Private Fund. His interests include Formula 1, baseball, real estate, mystery novels, art, and exercising.

Tess Whitman

Chief Operating Officer, President

Tess is a junior in the McDonough School of Business, majoring in Finance and minoring in Art History. Outside of GUSIF, Tess is a member of the WGTB and hosts her Radio Show, Hotel Room Service. In her free time, she enjoys painting, reading, and going to concerts.

Ari Kraan

Chief Investment Officer

Ari is a junior in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Finance and Accounting and minoring in Arabic. Outside of GUSIF, he interns at the Georgetown University Investment Office. In his free time, he enjoys participating in intramural basketball, watching movies, and following F1.

Juliet Thiessen

Director of External Relations

Juliet is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences from San Francisco, California. She is majoring in Biology of Global Health with minors in Economics and Film and Media Studies. Previously, she served as the Portfolio Manager of the Healthcare group. Outside of GUSIF, Juliet enjoys running, watching Saturday Night Live, and walking her French Bulldog.

Luke Musser

Director of Performance

Luke is a sophomore in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Accounting. Outside of GUSIF, Luke is a member of the Club Lacrosse team. In his free time, Luke enjoys reading, hiking, and going to the gym.

Nevin Thombre

Director of Education

Nevin is a junior in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Finance and Operations & Analytics and minoring in Computer Science. Outside of GUSIF, Nevin is in the Finance department of GUASFCU and a mentor in the BUILD program. In his free time, he enjoys running, watching Survivor, and traveling.
