The Georgetown University Student Investment Fund (GUSIF) was founded in 1996 by undergraduates Bryan Giraudo (COL ‘97) and Seong Kim (MSB ‘97) at Georgetown University, and received initial funding in 1997. GUSIF currently manages over $1M on behalf of the Georgetown University Endowment and Alumni Association, and operates according to its dual responsibilities:

Fiduciary Responsibility

Investing on behalf of both the Georgetown University Endowment and the Georgetown Alumni Association, GUSIF seeks to fulfill its fiduciary responsibilities by achieving above-market returns.

As a fully student-run organization, GUSIF seeks to fulfill its educational responsibility by providing financial training and real-world investing experience for all its members.
