Education

We take analysts from all different backgrounds, many with little to no prior experience in business or finance. To develop these concepts, new analysts meet with our Director of Education weekly to learn and review financial concepts, accounting basics, and more.

Education Sessions.

Led by our Director of Education, these lecture-style sessions begin with basic financial & accounting concepts. Throughout the semester, these progress through financial valuation and modeling, ensuring that all analysts have a similar knowledge base.

VP Sessions.

VP sessions are the discussion group to the education sessions’ lecture - they are a smaller environment in which analysts have greater opportunity for individualized support and tutoring. VP sessions often but not always meet on a weekly basis.

Assessments.

Throughout the semester analysts are given assessments to ascertain both their grasp over the concepts as well as our level of success teaching. These may take various forms and are meant to supplement the educational experience.
