Senior Vice Presidents

Senior Vice Presidents are GUSIF’s auxiliary leadership roles to support Board Function. These roles include SVPs of Investment, SVPs of Recruiting & Integration, an SVP of Education, and an SVP of Performance. The SVPs of Investment lead efforts to provide counter-analysis of buy pitches in the form of a Devil’s Advocate-style presentation, while the SVPs of Recruiting & Integration assist in recruiting the new analyst class and integrating the class into the wider Fund. The SVP of Education works closely with the Director of Education to develop and execute a semester-long training curriculum for new analysts. The SVP of Performance supports the Director of Performance in organizing, managing, and analyzing data related to the performance of the Fund’s positions.

 

Hunter Kates

SVP of Investments

Hunter is a sophomore in the College from San Diego majoring in Economics with minors in Business Studies and History. Previously, he served as Vice President of the Media & Telecommunications Group. Outside of GUSIF, he is a member of Georgetown University Public Real Estate Fund (GUPREF), Club Golf, and TAMID Consulting. His interests include reading, golf, running, IM basketball, history, and cooking. 

Leila Hamdan

SVP of Investments

Leila is a sophomore in the college majoring in Economics. Previously, she served as a Vice President for the Consumer and Retail Group. Outside of GUSIF, Leila is an analyst for Hoyalytics and the CFO of Georgetown Bubble. She also enjoys trying new foods, paddle boarding, and Ohio State football.

Anmol Malviya

SVP of Investments

Anmol is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service majoring in International Economics and minoring in International Development. Previously, he served as Vice President of the Financial Institutions Group. Outside of GUSIF, Anmol is involved in Georgetown Student Capital Partners (GCAP) and he enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and watching Premier League soccer.

Amelia Frisbie

SVP of Education

Amelia is a sophomore from Vermont in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Finance and Management. Previously, she was a Senior Analyst in the Consumer and Retail Group. Outside of GUSIF, Amelia’s a teaching assistant and involved in McDonough Women and Georgetown Admissions Ambassador Program. She likes to try new restaurants, ski, and travel with her family and friends. 

Leo Dong

SVP of Education

Leo is a sophomore in the McDonough School of Business. He is double-majoring in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Previously, he served as Vice President of the Industrials and Renewables Group. Outside of GUSIF, Leo is a member of Innovo Consulting. His interests include aviation, photography, and Chandler from Friends. 

Lucas Richardson

SVP of Performance

Lucas is a sophomore in the College of Arts & Sciences majoring in Political Economy and minoring in Philosophy and Mathematics. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group. Outside of GUSIF, Lucas is involved with Hilltop Consultants, Scholars of Finance, and Georgetown Club Badminton. In his free time, he enjoys exploring D.C., learning new board games, and playing basketball.

Walker McCarthy

SVP of Performance

Walker is a sophomore from Connecticut in the College of Arts & Sciences, previously part of the Media and Telecommunications and Industrials and Renewables groups. He is majoring in History and minoring in Statistics. Outside of GUSIF, Walker is on the Sailing team. He loves breakfast sandwiches, going to the beach with his dog, and watching Curb Your Enthusiasm. 

Lilly Izmirlian

SVP of Recruiting and Integration

Lilly is a sophomore in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Finance and Marketing. Prior to this role she was a Senior Analyst in the Industrials & Renewables group. In addition to GUSIF, she is the Vice President of Operations in the Georgetown Retail and Luxury Association. Her interests include running, skiing, and cooking.

Annika Mennon

SVP of Recruiting and Integration

Annika is a sophomore in the McDonough School of Business majoring in Finance and Operations Analytics. Previously, she was a Senior Analyst in the Industrials & Renewables group. Outside of GUSIF, Annika is a Senior Consultant for Innovo Consulting, and her interests include playing tennis, traveling and exploring DC.
